The objectives for this session are:
- Learn about ways to improve your English through movies.
- Analyze some of the features you need to pay attention to before, while, and after watching a movie.

How can movies help you improve your English? Give us your opinions in this chat.

PRE-WATCHING ACTIVITIES
Discuss these questions with a partner:
- Do you know anything about these actors? How about their movies?

WHILE-WATCHING STRATEGIES
- Pay attention to body language.
- Get the main idea. Do not worry about details the first time you watch the movie. Then DO worry.
- Take notes on vocabulary and expressions.

POST-WATCHING ACTIVITIES
- Select one expression from the script and explain it to your partners. You can explain by defining the word or by giving examples.
- Now, play with the words and expressions you just learned from watching the trailer

POST-WATCHING STRATEGIES
- Recycle vocabulary. Keep a bank of words in vocabulary notebook.
- Watch the movie as many times as you want ( research shows that a good listening exercise should be done at least five times).
- Do not keep your opinion to yourself! Share it in English just like you would do it in your own language.
